I would love to see the whole game implemented this way, but I'm afraid that it's not gonna happen.

It seems that it has taken them many years to get to the stage of a playable first mission. If you like to fiddle around trying to run old games on Windows (I know I do), have the CD copy of Dark Omen lying around and want to run it to experience the full campaign once again, I recommend reading Olly's Win 10 guide on the Dark Omen forum, which contains step-by-step instructions on how to run the game on modern machines. More information on how Dark Omen was taken apart and reconstucted by this team of skillful fanatics can be found on Dark Omen Reborn blog. It's been built with Unreal Engine 4, by a group of dedicated fans of the original and runs on Win 10 fine. For all of you who are waiting on GOG's re-release of Warhammer: Dark Omen (Shadow of The Horned Rat's sequel) -, I've got good news: there's a remake named " Dark Omen Reborn".
